I eschew drama, but its hard to date at my age. I finally bottomed out, this morning I ate a whole bag of Oreos. During my birthday party while being single, duh! That actually happened. Is that even legal? Honestly, it’s when I first considered singles events in North Dallas.

Easy solution. Figured I’d boost my dating life at this Dallas dating service. Definitely never sounded better. Loneliness bites, heres why. We were at my 40th birthday in Denver this afternoon, great aunt Judy had to know if I have yet to win that special someone. I don’t know why they even care. So, I said, “No.”

There’s nowhere to hide when Cousin Terry kept pressing me on the topic of my personal matters. I leveled to the whole group: “Seriously, my romantic destiny is right over there!”

Guess what? Each one of them scoffed. Immediately, I fell asleep that night so I could clear my head. That didn’t help! I didn’t learn a thing. Chuck, who was a fellow Ram in high school (go Rams!) suggested that I join Great Expectations. I said, “Yeah, maybe I should.” See, everything always works out. I will never regret joining the Denver Singles Events at Great Expectations.

Early on, matchmaking was a novel thing to me. I showed up already a little anxious, and then I started getting butterflies in my stomach. My slight disaster could not bring an end to a great time. That night I enjoyed was a limo pub crawl from heaven. The host was incredible and I’ll always remember the other members, some who are my new friends.

Appearing at these amazing Great Expectations Denver singles events, I bumped into some great people who I could tell have similar ideas while being in this kind of fun, sophisticated company. I really shouldn’t allow anyone give their two cents about me being single at my age. Surprisingly enough, dating right with Great Expectations is my pleasure and a remarkably refreshing dating experience.
